Sally Can’t Surf - The original party bar

Sally Can’t Surf -
The original party bar

The Sally Can’t Surf bar concept was born 24 years ago and operated in Hole-in-the-Wall in the Transkei, Glenmore and Port Edward on the Kwazulu Natal South Coast. In the year 2024 two lifelong friends decided that Ponta Do Ouro would be an ideal location to let this famous bar rise from the phoenix. When the premises of the old Cafe Del Mar, where Frenchie operated a busy bar up to 2020, became available, the friends decided they were going to create a bar like no other. Let the pictures speak for themselves.

ABOUT US

David, the owner, possesses a natural knack and creative flair for fostering social connections. Having owned a pub/bar since the early 2000s in Hole in the Wall, Transkei, he was determined that Mozambique would be his next venture. With offerings ranging from a party venue and accommodation to a restaurant, what more could one ask for? Dave personifies the essence of a chilled and laid-back individual, perfectly fitting the vibe that Sally’s provides.
